A Serene Air Airbus A330-200, registration AP-BNG performing flight
ER-821 from Lahore (Pakistan) to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), was climbing out of Lahore's runway 36R when the crew stopped the climb at 3000 feet due to severe engine (CF6) vibrations. The aircraft returned to Lahore for a safe landing on runway 36R about 20 minutes after departure.
A replacement A332 registration AP-BNF reached Jeddah the next day with a delay of about 21 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Lahor about 27.5 hours after landing.
