An AirSial Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BOB performing flight PF-125 from Karachi to Islamabad (Pakistan), was on approach to Islamabad's runway 28L when a bird impacted the right hand wing of the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 28L.

A post flight inspection revealed the bird had punctured a flap at the right hand wing section. The aircraft was unable to continue service. The next sectors had to be cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Islamabad 28 hours after landing.
