A Silver Airlines Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration N702SV performing flight
3M-88 from Fort Lauderdale,FL (USA) to North Eleuthera (Bahamas) with 63 people on board, was descending towards North Eleuthera when the crew observed a low oil pressure indication for the left hand engine (PW127M), declared emergency and decided to divert to Nassau (Bahamas) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 14.
Bahama's AAIA released their short investigation bulletin stating just the facts.
