A Sky Angkor Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration XU-723 performing flight
ZA-672 from Phnom Penh (Cambodia) to Bangkok (Thailand), was cleared to land on Bangkok's runway 20R and initially lined up with the runway 20R, but then "swung over" to runway 20L on short final and landed on runway 20L.
Thailand's AIB rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation stating that the aircraft was cleared to land on runway 20R but ATC observed the aircraft to make the final approach to runway 20L.
The aircraft continued on its schedule.
