A Smartwings Slovakia Boeing 737-800, registration OM-TSG performing flight
6D-6100 from Bratislava (Slovakia) to Antalya (Turkey), was enroute at FL330 about 110nm northwest of Antalya when the crew initiated an emergency descent to 13,000 feet levelling off about 5 minutes later (average rate of descent 4000fpm) due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft continued to Antalya for a safe landing on runway 18C about 20 minutes after leaving FL330.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 9 hours, then positioned to Prague (Czech Republic) as flight QS-101F maintaining cruise FL250. The aircraft returned to service about 21 hours after landing in Prague.
The airline reported shortly before planned landing in Antalya a problem with the pressurization of the aircraft was detected. Therefore the crew decided to safely descend to a lower flight level and landed safely at Antalya.
