An Air Tahiti Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-600, registration F-ORVC performing flight
VT-249 from Bora Bora to Papeete (Tahiti), was enroute at FL130 when the crew received indication of low fuel quantity for the right hand engine (PW127M). The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Papeete's runway 04. Upon vacating the runway the crew received a low fuel pressure indication for the right hand engine and the engine immediately shut down. The automatic restart system activated, the engine restarted normally. The crew shut the engine down and taxied to the apron on single engine.
The French BEA rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
