A Thai Airways Airbus A350-900, registration HS-THD performing flight
TG-466 from Melbourne,VI (Australia) to Bangkok (Thailand), landed on Bangkok's runway 19L at 19:46L (12:46Z) but veered left off the runway before returning onto the runway center line. The aircraft taxied to the apron.
Thailand's AAIIC reported the aircraft ran off the left side of the runway while landing causing damage to 7 runway edge lights. The occurrence was rated a serious incident and is being investigated.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Bangkok until Sep 25th 2024 before returning to service.
