A TUI Nederland Airlines Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration PH-TFN performing flight
OR-607 from Groningen (Netherlands) to Las Palmas,CI (Spain), had lined up runway 23 and was cleared for takeoff, when the crew waited and advised ATC they needed two more minutes due to weather ahead. The crew finally commenced takeoff from runway 23 but rejected takeoff at low speed (about 78 knots over ground) after receiving a wind shear alert. The crew advised they wanted to return to the holding point. While taxiing back to the holding point the crew called maintenance, the weather radar was reset.
The aircraft subsequently departed and reached Las Palmas with a delay of 50 minutes.
