A Nouvelair Airbus A320-200, registration TS-INE performing flight
BJ-640 from Tunis (Tunisia) to Istanbul (Turkey), was climbing out of Tunis' runway 19 when a bird impacted the aircraft prompting the crew to stop the climb at 4000 feet and return to Tunis for a safe landing on runway 29 about 25 minutes after departure.
A replacement A320-200 registration TS-IND reached Istanbul with a delay of about 2.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 24 hours after landing back.
