A UPS United Parcel Service Boeing 767-300, registration N390UP performing flight 5X-5943 from Oakland,CA to Louisville,KY (USA), was on approach to Louisville when the crew reported a problem with the leading edge flaps. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Louisville's runway 35L at a higher than normal speed. The crew advised after landing no assistance was needed and taxied to the apron.
The aircraft returned to service about 27 hours after landing.
