An Ural Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration VP-BDL performing flight
U6-8986 from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to Ekaterinburg (Russia), was climbing out of Bishkek's runway 08 when the crew stopped the climb at about 8000 feet due to a burning odour and strange sounds from the avionics bay in the cockpit.
