A UTAir Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration VQ-BMA performing flight
UT-112 from Ekaterinburg to Surgut (Russia), was on approach to Surgut's runway 07, flaps were already extended to 15 degrees, when the captain, pilot flying, commanded to extend the flaps to 30 degrees, however, the first officer, pilot monitoring, retracted the flaps to position 0, detected the mistake and then extended the flaps to 30 degrees. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 07.
Rosaviatsia reported the crew voluntarily reported the mistake, the QAR data confirm the flaps were reduced from 15 to 0 degrees then selected to 30 degrees.
