A Volotea Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration EC-NNY performing flight
V7-1138 from Olbia to Milan Linate (Italy), was accelerating for takeoff from Olbia's runway 05 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed due to an engine (CFM56) ingesting a bird. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.
A number of fan blades were damaged. The aircraft remained on the ground for 24 hours, then resumed service performing flight
