A Wizz Air Airbus A320-200, registration HA-LWC performing flight
W6-4793 from Skopje (North Macedonia) to Basel/Mulhouse (Switzerland/France), was climbing out of Skopje's runway 34 when the crew stopped the climb at 10,000 feet following a bird strike into one of the engines (V2527) and decided to return to Skopje. The aircraft landed safely on Skopje's runway 34 about 23 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Skopje about 50 hours after landing.
