How to use and cite our data

Our flight statistics, charts and CSV files are free to use, commercially too, under CC BY 4.0 . Credit Airportia and link to the page you used.

What you can use

Not covered: live or per-flight data (flight status, departure and arrival boards, flight histories, aircraft positions), airline logos and photos, and automated collection from the site. Linking to any Airportia page is always welcome. Full terms: Terms of Use, section 1a.

How to credit us

Write this next to the figure or chart, linked to the page it came from:

Source: Airportia (airportia.com)

Every statistics page has a “Cite this” box with a ready sentence: the figure, the page title, the period, the link and the date you retrieved it. For example:

Source: Airportia, "Most delayed airports, October 2026" (1–31 October 2026), https://www.airportia.com/statistics/most-delayed-airports/2026-10/, retrieved 3 November 2026.

The main ranking pages always show the latest period. To cite a fixed month, link its monthly page, such as October 2026; those figures do not change.

Where the data comes from

Statistics are recalculated once a day at 04:00 UTC; Flights Monitor adds the previous UTC day each morning. Each page has a “How we calculate this” or “How we count” note with the exact method and the minimum sample.
