A Condor Boeing 757-300, registration D-ABOA performing flight
DE-1439 from Arrecife,CI (Spain) to Hamburg (Germany), was in the initial climb out of Arrecife's runway 03 when the left hand engine (RB211) suffered a series of stalls prompting the crew to stop the climb at 3000 feet and return to Arrecife for a safe landing on runway 03 about 20 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Arrecife/Lanzarote almost 6 hours after landing back.
