A Hong Kong Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration B-LPI performing flight
HX-107 from Hong Kong to Meilan (China), was enroute at 6600 meters when the aircraft encountered an updraft and unexpected turbulence that caused a serious injury to one of the flight attendants. The aircraft continued to Meilan for a safe landing.
Hong Kong's AIB have opened an investigation into the occurrece rated an accident.
