UA-3435 from Indianapolis,IN to Washington Dulles,DC (USA), was on final approach to Dulles' runway 19R when a bird impacted the aircraft. The crew continued for a safe landing.
The FAA reported the aircraft sustained "unknown damage".
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 2 hours, then performed flight UA-3426 to Pittsburgh,PA (USA) and remained on the ground in Pittsburgh for about 21 hours before resuming service.
