A United Boeing 767-400, registration N76062 performing flight UA-169 from Venice (Italy) to Newark,NJ (USA), was enroute at FL300 about 40nm west of London Heathrow,EN (UK) when the crew initiated a descent to FL170 and decided to turn around to divert to London due to problems with the packs (Pressurization Air Conditioning Kits). The aircraft dumped fuel and landed on Heathrow's runway 09L about 45 minutes later.

The airline reported a mechanical issue.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Heathrow for about 26 hours, then continued the journey as flight UA-3921 and is currently estimated to reach Newark with a delay of about 27.5 hours.
