An Aerosucre Colombia Boeing 737-200, registration HK-5026 performing a freight flight from Mitu to an unknown destination (Colombia), returned to Mitu for a safe landing on runway 20 because the main cargo door was open or opened in flight. The cargo door remained attached, was wide open in flight during the final approach and fell down into a nearly shut position during roll out. The damage to the aircraft needs to be assessed.
