An American Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N826AW performing flight
AA-2932 from Charlotte,NC to Savannah,GA (USA), was climbing out of Charlotte when the crew stopped the climb at FL220 due to problems with the weather radar and decided to return to Charlotte for a safe landing on runway 36L about 30 minutes after departure.
A replacement A319-100 registration N9006 reached Savannah with a delay of 3.5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 5 hours after landing.
