An American Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N836AW performing flight
AA-761 from San Jose,CA to Phoenix,AZ (USA), was on approach to Phoenix when a bird impacted the nose cone of the aircraft. The aircraft continued to a safe landing on Phoenix's runway 07R.
The FAA reported: "AIRCRAFT STRUCK A BIRD LEAVING A DENT IN THE NOSE CONE, PHOENIX, AZ."
