An American Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration N659AW performing flight
AA-1626 from Oklahoma City,OK to Charlotte,NC (USA) with 151 people on board, was descending through about 7000 feet on approach to Charlotte when the crew declared emergency reporting they were down to one generator (engines V2527) only. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Charlotte's runway 18R about 10 minutes later.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Charlotte about 15 hours after landing.
