An American Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration N811NN performing flight
AA-2296 from Tampa,FL to Austin,TX (USA), was on final approach to Austin's runway 18L when the crew went around reporting they had an unsafe gear. While working the checklist the crew managed to get the gear down and locked, reported they now had a safe gear again, positioned for another approach to runway 18R and landed safely about 11 minutes after the go around with emergency services on stand by.
The aircraft was able to depart again after about 100 minutes on the ground.
