An Anadolujet Boeing 737-800 on behalf of THY Turkish Airlines, registration TC-JFT performing flight
TK-7236 from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen to Samsun (Turkey), was climbing out of Sabiha Gokcen's runway 24 when the crew stopped the climb at 7000 feet due to the failure of an engine (CFM56). The aircraft returned to Sabiha Gokcen for a safe landing on runway 24 about 35 minutes after departure.
A passenger reported the aircraft returned to Sabiha Gokcen due to an engine failure.
