An Avior Airlines Boeing 737-200, registration YV2823 performing flight
9V-41 from Barcelona to Caracas (Venezuela), was on approach to Caracas about 5 minutes prior to estimated landing when the crew advised ATC of the failure of their hydraulic system A and requested assistance to vacate the runway. The aircraft continued for a safe landing about 5 minutes later.
Venezuela's INAC confirmed the incident and stated, the landing was safe. An investigation has been opened.
