An Azul Linhas Aereas Airbus A320-200N, registration PR-YRH performing flight AD-9045/AD-4545 from Manaus,AM to Porto Velho,RO (Brazil) with 173 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Manaus' runway 11 when the crew selected to retract the flaps, however received a "DC BUS 1 FAULT" indication and the flaps stopped moving. The crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet, worked the related checklists and returned to Manaus, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 11 about 25 minutes after departure.
Brazil's CENIPA reported after the flaps were selected to become retracted the crew received a "DC BUS 1 FAULT" message and the flaps stayed between positions 2 and 1. The aircraft returned to Manaus for a safe landing (editorial remark: CENIPA provided the time stamp as Nov 25th 2020 01:00UTC instead of Nov 26th 2020 01:00UTC and mentioned PR-YRI as occurrence aircraft, which however had not been to Manaus during the time, the flight of Nov 24th 2020 (Nov 25th UTC) completed the flight without any occurrence).
The aircraft returned to service about 5.5 hours after landing.
