An Azul Linhas Aereas Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PR-AKC performing freight flight AD-2014 from Porto Alegre,RS to Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP (Brazil) with 2 crew, was climbing out of Porto Alegre when the crew stopped the climb at 12500 feet due to right hand engine parameters starting to oscillate. The crew worked the relevant checklists and decided to return to Porto Alegre where the aircraft landed safely about 30 minutes after departure.
The aircraft returned to service about 35 hours after landing back.
