An Azul Linhas Aereas Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PR-AQP performing flight
AD-9169 from Sao Jose do Rio Preto,SP to Belo Horizonte,MG (Brazil) with 52 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Sao Jose when the crew stopped the climb at about 9000 feet due to a fault indication for the right hand engine (PW127M). The aircraft returned to Sao Jose for a safe landing on runway 25 about 20 minutes after departure.
Brazil's CENIPA rated the occurrence an incident.
