An Azul Linhas Aereas Embraer ERJ-195, registration PR-AYJ performing flight
AD-2036 from Sao Paulo Viracopos,SP to Teresina,PI (Brazil) with 2 crew and cargo also in the upper deck, was enroute at FL390 near Petrolina,PE (Brazil) when the crew reported a smoke indication for the upper deck and decided to divert to Petrolina. The aircraft landed safely in Petrolina and stopped, following an inspection finding no smoke the emergency was cancelled.
The indication was deemed false.
