A British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-EUUH performing flight BA-884 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Bucharest Otopeni (Romania), was climbing out of Heathrow's runway 27L when the crew stopped the climb at FL080. The aircraft returned to Heathrow for a safe landing on runway 28R about 30 minutes after departure.

A passenger reported the crew advised they had a problem with the cabin pressurization.

A replacement A320-200 registration G-EUUB reached Bucharest with a delay of about 4 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Heathrow about 69 hours after landing (almost 3 days, standing Dec 31st 2022).
