A British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-MIDS performing positioning flight BA-9275 from Glasgow,SC to London Heathrow,EN (UK) with 2 crew on board, was enroute at FL350 about 70nm northnorthwest of Manchester,EN (UK) when the crew donned their oxygen masks, reported fumes in the cockpit and decided to divert to Manchester, where the aircraft landed on runway 05L about 30 minutes later.
The airline confirmed the aircraft was on a positioning flight with 2 crew only, the crew requested priority and diverted to Manchester due to some minor technical issue.
