A Cargojet Boeing 757-200, registration C-GIAJ performing flight W8-1951 from Cincinnati,KY (USA) to Montreal Mirabel,QC (Canada) with 2 crew, was departing Cincinnati's runway 27 when the crew received a low quantity indication for the left hydraulic system followed by a low pressure indication. The crew worked the related checklist, consulted with dispatch and decided to continue the flight to Montreal. On approach to Montreal's runway 24, while extending the landing gear, the crew received an unsafe nose gear indication. The crew went around and positioned for another approach after working the related checklists and performed another approach to runway 24. At 300 feet AGL the crew received a green indication for the nose gear, too, and continued for a safe landing about 18 minutes after the go around.

The Canadian TSB reported the nose gear retraction actuator hose was found damaged. The hose as well as the electrical and engine drive hydraulic pumps of the left hydraulic system were replaced.
