A Cargojet Boeing 757-200, registration C-GCJT performing freight flight W8-920 from Cincinnati,KY (USA) to Calgary,AB (Canada) with 2 crew, was in the initial climb accelerating to clean speed, when an uncommanded yaw occurred continuously and intensified with increasing speed. The crew declared emergency and returned to Cincinnati for a safe landing about 20 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported the crew performed a controllability check in flight and found the aircraft was unsafe to fly above 230-240 KIAS prompting them to declare emergency and return to Cincinnati's Covington Northern Kentucky Airport.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 30 hours after landing.
