A Cargojet Boeing 757-200, registration C-FACJ performing flight
W8-462 from Iqaluit,NU to Hamilton,ON (Canada) with 2 crew, was on approach to Hamilton when the crew detected an electrical odour in the cockpit, declared PAN PAN and continued for a safe landing.
The Canadian TSB reported a postflight visual inspection did not reveal any findings, however, the right hand flight control computer was replaced while troubleshooting another fault. The aircraft was returned to service and did not exhibit any faults on subsequent flights.
