A Condor Boeing 757-300, registration D-ABOF performing flight DE-3 from Hurghada (Egypt) to Hamburg (Germany), was climbing through FL270 out of Hurghada when the crew stopped the climb and diverted to Cairo for a safe landing on runway 23L about 55 minutes later.

A passenger reported the captain announced there was a problem with the spoilers and they needed to divert to Cairo.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Cairo 75 hours after landing.
