A CSA Czech Airlines Airbus A320-200 on behalf of Israir, registration OK-HEU performing flight
6H-725 from Tel Aviv (Israel) to Budapest (Hungary), was enroute at FL360 when the crew received a "ENG2 COMPRESSOR VANE" indication shortly followed by an "ENG2 STALL" indication, N1 dropped to below 50% for a few seconds, then recovered to 83%, subsequently all engine parameters stabilized at normal values. The aircraft continued to Budapest for a safe landing.
Czechia's UZPLN reported a Variable Bleed Valves (VBV) fault was detected by maintenance. The fuel gear motor assembly as well as VBV stop mechanism were replaced.
The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 38 hours after landing.
