A Delta Airlines Airbus A319-100, registration N315NB performing flight
DL-2036 from Salt Lake City,UT to San Antonio,TX (USA), was climbing out of Salt Lake City's runway 34L when an increasing smell of smoke was detected in the cabin prompting the crew to stop the climb at about FL360 and return to Salt Lake City for a safe landing on runway 34R about 50 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Salt Lake City about 7 hours after landing back.
