A Delta Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration N813NW performing flight
DL-195 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Atlanta,GA (USA), was climbing out of Barcelona's runway 24R when the left hand engine emitted streaks of flames and bangs prompting the crew to stop the climb at 4000 feet. The aircraft entered a hold and positioned for a safe landing on runway 24R about 30 minutes after departure.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Barcelona about 6.5 hours after landing.
