A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N819DX performing flight DL-260 (dep Jul 20th) from Minneapolis,MN (USA) to Keflavik (Iceland), was on approach to Keflavik when the crew advised they had problems with their flaps and would be landing at a higher speed than normal. The aircraft landed safely on Keflavik's runway 19 at a higher than normal speed (about 172 knots over ground).

The return flight was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Keflavik about 25 hours after landing.
