DL-2990 from Atlanta,GA to Jacksonville,FL (USA), was descending towards Jacksonville when the aircraft was struck by lightning. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Jacksonville's runway 08.
The airline reported the aircraft landed safely after indication of a potential lightning strike on arrival into Jacksonville.
A replacement aircraft performed the return flight.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Jacksonville about 21 hours after landing.
