A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300, registration N174DN performing flight DL-2282 from Orlando,FL to Atlanta,GA (USA), was climbing out of Orlando's runway 17L. After contacting departure the crew advised they had a bird strike on takeoff right when they started to retract the landing gear, they had no abnormal indications and were consulting with dispatch. The crew continued to Atlanta for a safe landing on runway 09R about 65 minutes after departure.

The FAA reported a post flight inspection revealed a dent on the nose cone.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Atlanta about 27.5 hours after landing.
