An Easyjet Airbus A320-200, registration G-EZRX performing flight
U2-2143 from Manchester,EN (UK) to Dalaman (Turkey), was enroute at FL350 about 60nm northeast of Split (Croatia) when the crew decided to divert to Split for a safe landing on runway 05 about 20 minutes later.
A listener on frequency reported the crew declared Mayday reporting an incapacited crew member and requested to divert to Split, just when they had received the frequency to the next sector instead of acknowledging the frequency change.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 6.5 hours, then continued the flight and reached Dalaman with a delay of about 7 hours.
