An Envoy Embraer ERJ-145, registration N605KS performing flight MQ-3596/AA-3596 from Dallas Ft. Worth,TX to Abilene,TX (USA) with 29 people on board, was climbing out of Dallas Ft. Worth's runway 18L when the crew stopped the climb at about 16,000 feet reporting a bleed air issue with the right hand engine (Ae3007), no assistance was required. After the ATC controller queried, the crew did eventually declare emergency, the controller thus queried "the bleeding engine is the #2 engine, correct?" which the crew affirmed. The aircraft returned to Dallas Ft. Worth for a safe landing on runway 18L about 25 minutes after departure.

A replacement Embraer ERJ-135 registration N842AE reached Abilene with a delay of about 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft returned to service about 19 hours after landing back.
