An Equaflight Service Beech 1900C, registration TN-AIQ performing flight
E7-512 from Brazzaville to Pointe Noire (Congo) with 15 people on board, landed on Pointe Noire's runway 17 after sunset (about 18:30L/17:30Z) when the right hand main gear collapsed causing the aircraft to veer right before coming to a stop. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage however.
The aircraft had been chartered by an oil company to bring the body of an employee, who had died in Morocco, and the family home.
Pointe Noire's runway 17 features an ILS, runway 35 a RNAV or VOR/DME approach.
