An Ethiopian Airlines de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration ET-AVS performing flight
ET-106 from Addis Ababa to Makale (Ethiopia), landed on Makale's runway 11 but suffered a problem with the left main gear causing the aircraft to veer left of the runway and come to a stop on soft ground. There were no injuries, the aircraft sustained substantial damage as result of a left main gear collapse.
