A Gojet Canadair CRJ-550 on behalf of United, registration N523GJ performing flight UA-4602 from Saint Louis,MO to Newark,NJ (USA) with 25 people on board, was enroute at FL410 about 50nm northwest of Columbus,OH (USA) when the crew needed to shut the right hand engine down and diverted to Columbus. The aircraft landed safely on runway 28L about 25 minutes after leaving FL410.

The aircraft remained on the ground in Columbus for about 48 hours, then positioned to Saint Louis.

According to information The Aviation Herald received on Dec 8th 2021, the ITT (Inter Turbine Temperature) of the right hand engine went out of limits prompting the shutdown.
