A Hainan Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration B-304L performing flight
HU-753 from Beijing (China) to Manchester,EN (UK) with 230 people on board, was enroute at FL340 about 190nm southeast of Krasnoyarsk (Russia) when the aircraft descended to FL200 and diverted to Krasnoyarsk for a safe landing on runway 29 about one hour later.
The airline reported a mechanical fault, a replacement aircraft is going to continue the flight.
Russian Authorities stated a technical malfunction.
A passenger reported the captain announced a malfunction as reason for the diversion.
