AF-1806 from Marseille (France) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was climbing out of Marseille's runway 31R when the crew stopped the climb at about 9500 feet due to an engine (CF34) failure. The engine was shut down, the aircraft returned to Marseille's runway 31R for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure.
