An Indigo Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-IIG performing flight 6E-2433 from Patna to Delhi (India) with 181 passengers and 8 crew, was climbing out of Patna's runway 07 when the crew stopped the climb at about 8000 feet due to the failure of one of the engines (LEAP). The aircraft returned to Patna for a safe landing on runway 07 about 20 minutes after departure.

The airport reported the aircraft returned with one engine inoperative.

A replacement A320-200N registration VT-IPO reached Delhi with a delay of 3.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Patna about 7 hours after landing back.
